of the genetic code. Why are there strong and weak letter doublets? The first gene, the first protein. Early (ancient) biosynthesis of protein. The idea of the evolution of the genetic code from the CG to the CGUA alphabet has been developed further. The assumption of the originally triplet structure of the genetic code has been substantiated. The hypothesis of the emergence of stop codons at the early stage of the evolution of the genetic code has been additionally supported. The existence of strong and weak letter doublets of codons and the symmetry of strong doublets in the genetic code table, discovered by Rumer, have been explained. A hypothesis concerning the primary structure of the first gene and the first protein has been proposed. Strong and weak letter doublets. Rumer's symmetry. Rumer proposed this representation of the table of letter doublets for the genetic code in order to illustrate the symmetry he had discovered [1,2] (see Table 1). A Thr Ser Ile Asn Arg Met Lys Table 1. The symmetry of the table of the letter doublets for the genetic code (according to Rumer). Strong letter doublets are marked in gray. A nucleotide triplet can be assumed to change its form, but in this case a change in the form of the first two nucleotides occurs due to the third. Here I do not speak of the form of the triplet in the

Identification of the first Transgenic Aquatic Animal in Iran by PCR-Based Method and Protein Analysis
In the recent years, there is evidence of training a red type of zebrafish which differs from wild-type in body color. There is not any document how it reaches to the ornamental fish farms of Iran but at first, it was a doubt it belongs to a morphotype or genetic modification (GM). First of all, a set primer was designed to validate zebrafish species. Mitochondrial 16srDNA was selected and ampl...
متن کاملGap Junction Protein Beta 2 Gene Variants and Non-Syndromic Hearing Impairment among Couples Referred For Prenatal Diagnosis in the Northeast of Iran
Introduction: Hearing impairment is a complex medical disorder whichhas genetic and non-genetic causes. Gap Junction Protein Beta 2 (GJB2) gene variant is a well-known disease-causing gene among patients with hearing impairment. The frequencies of genetic variants in the GJB2 gene are different in each population. This study aimed to discuss the GJB2 gene status in an Iranian population with he...
متن کاملP-157: Polymorphic Core Promoter GA-repeats Alter Gene Expression of The Early Embryonic Developmental Genes
Background: We examine the GA-repeat core promoters of MECOM and GABRA3 in human embryonic kidney-293 cell line and show that those GA-repeats have promoter activity, and those different alleles of the repeats can significantly alter gene expression. We propose a novel role for GA-repeat core promoters to regulate gene expression in the genes involved in development and evolution. Materials and M...
متن کاملCharacterization of the Full Length Coat Protein Gene of Iranian Grapevine fanleaf virus isolates, genetic variation and phylogenetic analysis
The full-length coat protein gene of Grapevine fanleaf virus (GFLV) isolates from Iran was characterized byreverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RTPCR) and sequencing. The expected 1515 bp coatprotein (CP) gene amplicon was obtained for 16 isolates out of 89 that were identified by double antibodysandwich enzyme-linked immunesorbent assay (DASELISA) in a population ...
متن کاملSafety Assessment of cryIAc for human, animals and environment
Risk assessment of a transgene is one of the key steps in genetic transformation. Hence, in order to use cryIAc gene for production of transgenic plants, a library and in-silico research was performed to confirm safety of the gene for human comsumption, animal feed and environment. In the first step, the molecular mechanism of action of the CryIAc protein and its specific receptors in the midgu...
